RustMapCDN

Host your Rust map. Share one link.

Upload a map file and get a direct link that works in levelurl first time. Players download it from a server close to them, wherever they are.

Everything a map link should be.

RustMapCDN does one thing: it puts your Rust map online and keeps it there.

A link that always works.

Every map gets a direct link to the file itself. Servers and players load it first time, with no share page in the way and nothing that quietly expires overnight.

Fast, wherever players are.

Maps are cached across Cloudflare's network, so each player downloads from a data centre nearby rather than from one server on the other side of the world.

Made for your whole team.

Log in with Discord, create an organisation and invite your admins. Everyone sees the same maps, links and expiry dates.

Free. Genuinely.

No ads, no plans and no card details. Hosting and downloads cost nothing.

Online in about a minute.

Questions, answered.

What is levelurl?

It is the Rust server setting that tells your server, and every player who joins, where to download a custom map. It has to point straight at the .map file, which is exactly the link RustMapCDN gives you.

Does it cost anything?

No. Hosting and downloads are free, and there are no ads.

How big can a map be?

Up to 200 MB. The largest map hosted here today is about 86 MB.

How long do maps stay online?

For 90 days after upload. Your dashboard shows when each map expires, and you can upload it again at any time.

Why not use a Discord or Google Drive link?

Discord attachment links expire, and file-sharing links usually open a web page rather than the file itself. Either way, players cannot download your map. A RustMapCDN link serves the file directly, every time.

Can my team help manage our maps?

Yes. Add people by their Discord ID. Owners look after the team, admins upload and manage maps, and members can see everything.

What can I upload?

Rust map files only, as exported by RustEdit or saved by a Rust server. RustMapCDN is not general file hosting.

Your map, online in a minute.

Free for every Rust server. All you need is a Discord account.
